Since graduation I spent 7 years in law enforcement working for Smith and Henderson County Sheriff's Departments. I started in dispatch, went the thru the police academy, worked on patrol and then was an investigator. In March of 2008 I married my wonderful husband Shane (also in law enforcement). Also in March of 2008 I left law enforcement to work for a Child Advocacy Center where I conduct forensic interviews with children who are victims/witnesses of crimes. We stay very busy with our 3 kids, and will hopefully be adding to our family soon! My life has been so blessed!
