On June 12 2010 first meeting was conducted over at Galaxy Bowling Center. A committee was formed to help with the reunion details. Some of the items mentioned were as follow:
 
  1. Opening a bank account to deposit contributions. (Indra will be in charge of bank related activities)
  2. Need to obtain a non-profit permit.
  3. Location
  4. Activities
  5. Football game
 
One of the options brought up was to have the reunion at South Padre Island. A few options were mentioned one of them being Isla Grand.
 
On July 10, 2010 second meeting was conducted. On this meeting the main subject to discuss was getting contact information from classmates. One of the topics mentioned was “Football game” will not be planned by committee. It was determined this will be an informal event and anyone wanting to attend the game can do so on their own with the rest of the classmates who wish to participate.
 
Another topic on this meeting having a slide show with pictures from high school as well as recent pictures anyone wishes to have display. Anyone with pictures please contact anyone from the committee. Among one of the things mentioned as well was the cost of the reunion.
 
On August 14, 2010 third meeting was conducted. A date for the reunion was set being October 1, 2011. Location was also chosen that being Padre Rock (subject to change). It was also established that fees being charge will be as follow.
 
A $25.00 non refundable deposit will be charge to anyone wishing to attend.
Total cost will be $35.00 single and $50.00 per couple.
This is to pay for location, food, and other expenses.
 
A non-profit application is being submitted this week. Once that is approved we will be opening a bank account, where everyone can deposit the fee being charge.
 
Keep in mind guys this is just a brief summary of what is going on so far. We will keep you guys posted on everything that is being done. Also any ideas and suggestions are more than welcome, we are trying to make this a good experience for everyone and are taking all your suggestions into consideration, but let’s also don’t forget there is a reason why a committee was formed. We all have different ideas and not everything can be done. With that being said we promise to give you guys an awesome reunion.
