1 September 1981 - Peace Officer License.
1 July 1988 - Instructor License.
13 April 1994 - Master Peace Officer License.

1. Joined the Bryan Police Department on 1 September 1965 as a Patrol Officer.
2. Joined the Snyder Police Department on 1 October 1967 until 28 February 1968 as a Patrol Officer.
3. Returned to the Bryan Police Department on 1 March 1968 as a Patrol Officer.
4. 1970 promoted to Sergeant.
5. 1971 promoted to Senior Sergeant.
6. 1973 promoted to Lieutenant.
7. 1980 promoted to Police Major which later was changed to Assistant Chief of Police.
8. Retired 31 March 2000.

Graduated with Associated of Arts Degree in Police Science Blinn Jr. College
Graduated with Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice on 19 Aug 1976.(SHSU)
Spring 1977 started on Master's degree in criminal justice.
Graduated from the National F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, VA on 12 Sept 1974 (98th Session).
