Katie Woodhouse Bellantonio

I attended the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 2003. My sophomore year I met my husband through a mutual friend. We hit it off right away, and we just had our fifth year anniversary of marriage. I have taught 3rd grade for 3 years, 4th for 1 year, and now I am trying out 2nd grade. We got married, had our house built, and I started my teaching career all in the same year. Things have not slowed down much since then. I am teaching at a school even smaller than BV High School. There is only one teacher per grade, and the maximum amount of students per class is 20. It reminds me of growing up in a small school where I knew everyone.

Overall, I just enjoyed the small-town atmosphere that Buena Vista brought on. I felt like we were a big family, since we knew each other so well.
