To all the classmates of KWSHS class of 1964,

Our 50th anniversary of our high school graduation in now behind us. It was a pleasure for me, personally, to work on the committee with a great group of "FRIENDS".  We  should be proud of the job that was done. I have one regret and that is we could not locate everybody from our class. To those that elected, personally, not to participate in the reunion, please do know that someone from our class wished you would have attended. You would have only added to what was a great night.

Now as we are entering a NEW YEAR, we look forward to new adventures, journeys, trips and situations just as we did when we graduated from high school. The reality now is that as we get older the time is diminishing for exactly how many more adventures, etc we will endure so we have to cherish them even more now!

To those classmates who rest "IN Memory" we all know someone from our class thinks, remembers and smiles with the memories of having known them.

To all of you, my wife and I, bid you a very HAPPY,HEALTHY,PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and safe 2015!!!  In the words of the old Irish proverb:

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Molly

To all my classmates of the great Class of 1964:  Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous and productive New Year!  In response to a comment Dick posted, I am one who did not attend the reunion, for reasons I now regret, and wish I could do over.  We can't look back, but I sincerely hope that there is another chance for a get-together for as many who can attend.  It took me too long to realize how meaningful the reunion would be.  Keep in touch with those classmates and "new" friends you have made as a result of the reunion and this web site, and maybe it can happen again!

I love the Irish Proverb from Molly~~~It has very strong meaning and words along with tons of sentiment!!!  To all of you, no matter where you are, you  are all in our hearts~~~Stay well until the next time we meet~~~ Bonnie

                                                       GOD BLESS

Well said, Dick, Molly, Ann and Bonnie.  I have to agree with Ann, as I was unable to attend, also, but I was thinking of all who were able to get there. and hope there is another gathering for a second chance, in the not too distant future.

AMEN !!!!  Classmates , bless you all, and  please keep in touch with us !  As we have seen it can all end in an instant ! Cherish not the breaths we take ,but the moments that take our breath away ! And it was so true of our reunion . It took our breath away to see so many friends once again ! When we started to plan this special event, we had no idea of the impact it would make in our lives ! We were blessed !!!!!! Thank you ! You are all in my prayers that God will let you stay to come to the next "Family Reunion"  stay well my friends til we meet again !  I can't wait !  Nanc

I was one who didnt attend the reunion due to some health problems for both me and my husband. Gladly those are resolved. I so wanted to be there. The CD was wonderful. God Bless and everyone have a great 2015!

I think we've all seen how wonderful this web site has been in connecting and keeping in touch with old and new friends.  I hope it stays up for the next 50 years!  My suggestion is that if there is a cost to continue it, we all contribute to keep it going.  And yes, Colleen Watkins Rotella, wild horses won't keep me away from the 70th birthday party....and we WILL go together!

Tony, thank you for letting us know about Dale.  I did not know him in high school but spent a lovely evening with Ann Oelheim and Dale two years ago.  Since then we have maintained contact through Facebook.  Please keep us posted as to his condition.  My prayers go out to Dale and his family.

Thanks for the updates and the address, Tony. I think if we focus the collective might of the Class of 64 on Dale, we can pull him through this crisis by our sheer will. The first step is to innundate him with cards and letters, followed by thoughts and prayers, and finally, a bucket of chicken wings from Duff's to announce our triumph. Go Dale!

Hello everyone.

Dale Bowes sister in law has today posted the following on Dale's Facebook page.

"This is to let all know that Dale is in a new facility. It's St. Peters Manor, 230 Spencer Rd. St. Peters MO 63376 Room 19. There has been complications with his condition and perhaps you should know that this is a hospice care facility. Please continue to send well wishes to him and keep him in your prayers. Thank you everyone. I know Dale has been cheered by your concern for his well being and your continued friendship."

Please keep Dale and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Tony

Hello, all,

I am posting an update to Tony Laughlin's message of earlier today.  I have just spoken to Dale Bowes' brother, Keith, who called to let me know Dale passed away earlier today.  This is a very sad time for all of us who knew him.  Our hearts are heavy today.  Ann

Hello all,

I talked to Dale's brother as well.  Dale and his family were blown away by all the cards, notes and letters of support that Dale received.

Thanks everyone, we are going to miss our good buddy!
