10/10/08 09:35 AM #3     Sherri Godkin (Latture) Okay, I am SO excited about seeing everyone. I check this site every day--sometimes more than once--to see who else has registered to be there. I am flying into Houston on Friday the 24th, driving a rental car to Jasper where I have a hotel room reserved, and then I will just commute back and forth from Jasper to Buna. If anyone else has similar arrangements let me know, maybe we can carpool or something... :-)

10/26/08 10:26 PM #5     Kim Cole (Cox) WoW! It's Oct. 26th and I loved the reunion! It was wonderful to get to see so many of you, to visit & catch up.... Over the next week or so, Jeani (along with others) will be posting pictures from all of the get togethers. If you have pics please send them to her. Also, Terry has already added new pics to the reunion slide show (GREAT job, Terry!) He wants to do some minor editing and to add any different pics that might be available. I think he should sell these...I'd love a copy! Set a price Terry and let us know. The preview I saw this evening was about 30 minutes! Thanks again to Jeani...for the great work on the reunion...Thanks to Judy & her family for all the decorating & cleanup...Thanks to Darrell for cooking....Thanks to Jennifer & Andy for helping us out with the Saturday night location & required law enforcement...It was really nice having others handle all the details....it can be overwhelming.... I love you all....The Class of '89 is very unique...I meant it....it's like I just saw you yesterday-when it may have been years since we talked...we care about each other...come together to take care of each other in times of sorrow ....and enjoy each others company in times of happiness... You all are the best! P.S. After the contributions, donations and fees,...all expenses were paid with $160 dollars in the kitty...may it be a very long time before it's needed!!!

10/27/08 10:14 AM #6     Jeani Wilson (LeBlanc) I hope everyone has recovered or continues to recover this week. I am so glad so many of us came out and got to visit and do a little catching up! Everyone looked great and I think 20 years has done us all well! I want to also thank Kim for always keeping up with EVERYTHING, Judy, Darrell (and assistant cooks), Jennifer, Andy, Jana, Joan, Amanda, Mrs. Whitehead (great potatoe salad!)& Terry for all the help with the reunion. I feel fortunate to be from a small town where you know everyone's name! I have "misplaced" the memory card to my camera (hoping it is in the truck somewhere)so please send pictures so they can be added to the reunion section. We missed those classmates who were not able to come. You really missed a LARGE time! Everyone gets busy with their own lives, work, kids etc., we have reconnected so lets all keep in touch. We have always been a class with heart, style, caring/concern, respect and love for each other and that will last for an eternity no matter how long we go with out seeing each other or how many miles separate us! I toast each of you!

Thanks Colin for calling me last spring and for keeping me updated all summer on the details of the reunion...and for checking on me while I traveled there and back. Thanks Richie for keeping me company all weekend and for driving me around Buna, "Anub", to see everything that's changed--and for letting me drive your truck! Get that loose steering fixed--that's dangerous! :-) Thanks Maz and Michelle for letting me stay at your place Saturday night so I didn't have to drive all the way back to Jasper. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome. Leaving was very hard to do--it felt the same as it did 24 years ago! I can't wait to see you all again. I'd like to bring the kids down the first week in April over spring break or in the summer. Maybe we can plan a small get-together at the lake or something. Tents, campfires, families, friends, and marshmallows! Love ya'll!!

10/31/08 11:54 AM #9     Joy Brumfield (Morgan) Happy Halloween, everyone!!! I hope everyone has fun plans for the night. But, be safe... I had the best time Saturday night!1 Even though I wasn't able to spend much time enjoying the reunion events, I had a blast! I agree with Jeani - I love being from a small town where everyone knows your name. Our class IS very special....and we still are. I want to thank everyone for making me feel so welcomed and loved when I walked into the Lions Hall. It was so nice to receive the big hugs from everyone. I'm so impressed with how good everybody looks.....and everyone seems so happy. Jeani, Judy, Darrel, Judy, Kim, Terry (and anyone that I left off)....GREAT job with the reunion and this website. I plan on using this to keep in touch with everyone....I hope others do the same. I want to tell all of you that I love you and have missed you over the years. I thought it was amazingly easy to pick up where we left off. I was saddened to realize the amount of loss our class has suffered. But, it's our responsibility to keep the happy memories of our classmates alive and well. I thought the table set up in their honor was a beautiful way to include them in our celebration. Again, to those of you responsible for that....THANK YOU for being so thoughtful. I would love to hear from everyone often. Please e-mail me!

12/23/08 12:19 AM #11     Terry McNaughten hi ever one i am have finished the dvd if you want songs that you like on the dvd send them to me by e-mail on here if not i will put some on the dvd that where #1 hits when we where in school but at the start of the dvd all summer long is on it and at the end friends are friends is at the end to remeber our fallen class mates if you want a dvd it the cost of them are $15 a dvd it toke me alot of time and work to do them and i hope ever one likes them terry
