Enetta Lenee Call, age 56, of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly of Burley, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Lenee was born on Dec. 7, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Melvin and Enetta (Jensen) Call. Her family lived in Bountiful, Utah, until the spring of 1959, when they relocated to the Pella area southwest of Burley.
Lenee grew up on her family’s farm where she learned the valuable lesson of hard work and about the simple things of life – being outdoors and watching the animals and plants grow. She received her education in Burley, and graduated from Burley High School. She then moved to Salt Lake City to attend the Bryman School. She spent most of her adult life working as a shipping and receiving clerk for various businesses. She enjoyed coming home to the farm as often as she could. She loved her home in Burley and enjoyed spending time with her parents. However, she did not like winter driving and would often come home with other family members.
Lenee was very fond of her family and put forth extra effort to acknowledge them. She took special interest in her nieces and nephews. Lenee’s gentle manner will be missed.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Billy for his thoughtfulness, love, and understanding care given to Lenee.
She is survived by her parents, Melvin and Enetta Call of Burley; her siblings, Leland (Judy) Call of Park City, Utah, LaRene (Steve) Woolstenhulme of St. George, Utah, Karen Call of Greeley, Colorado, Susan Tyacke of Federal Way, Washington, and Todd Call of Boise; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one nephew, Shane Thomas Call.
Please join the family at a casual memorial service in Lenee’s honor to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at her childhood home at 268 W. 400 S., of Burley, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Pella Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangement have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
