Cpt. William Louis Kershisnik Jr. accomplished much in his brief life. After serving an LDS mission in Germany he graduated from the University of Utah and then attended podiatry school in San Francisco, CA. He went on to become a captain in the army and traveled across the united states. In addition to providing excellent care for his patients he contributed to medical research and sought out opportunities to serve those who were in need. After his death an award was created in his name for military doctors that contribute to their field. Above all he was a committed father. His children were his greatest source of pride and joy and his legacy of love carries on with them today.
