Hahah! I pulled the GWF right out of the air.. that was my memory of his name for some reason. I think 'skeet' = 'squirt'. That's what he said when he handed me the spray bottle of cleaner to do windows after school :/ Skeet these windows!

Sniggling = laughing. Nuff said about that! Let's see...phonetically, it was 'schnigglin'.

Karen, YES! Great memories of your car and Cindy's mustang at lunch :)

Sandy, how funny. I had forgotten about his pronunciation of certain "words", thanks for reminding us. What a good laugh! I can hear him now. I guess I was tramatized by the nasty things we had to do in that class. He was sooooo serious..however, how much fun could he have made it for us in that class!!??

Does anyone know where he is from??? Thank God he did not teach English, right???? Our forum would look like an "Elmer Fudd forum"! sniggle...sniggle

Karen, I don't know... but I know I'll never forget what a 'crop' is because I accidentally cut into a grasshopper's and it sprayed nastiness all over my hands. Of course, Mr. Bates with his 1/2 paper towel ration during dissection wouldn't let me get another one to clean up. Poor man must have reeked of formaldehyde by the end of every day for 25 years.

Hats off to him and all the teachers that taught the class of 79 :)
