Comments:

I left BEHS in the first month of my Junior year and went back to Viewcrest Christian. I ended up at MVHS in my Senior year and graduated from there. I had several miscellaneous jobs after high school ranging from local weekend AM radio DJ in Anacortes and MV, dishwasher, fish wrapper, worked on a processing boat in Alaska, Jewelry store in the mall, waitress, Nanny, Security Guard, various retail stores, chicken chopper, receptionist. At one point I had counted 30 jobs. I always had 2 jobs at the same time and had lived in Washington, Idaho, California and Alaska. I guess I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. Finally, at age 25 I went to Dental Assisting school and became...(you guessed it!) a Dental Asst. I worked in General Dentistry for 2 years in Sedro Woolley. I got married to my landlords brother. It took a couple years to finally agree to go out with him. It was New Years Eve and we kissed at the stroke of midnight! We have been inseparable ever since! His son Mason became my Stepson (he was 7 at the time and is now 18). I left General Dentistry to specialize in Endodontics (Root Canals) for 1 year. Then I switched to Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery. During that year I became pregnant with my first (biological) child Levi. I had to quit due to all of the nitrous Oxide (Laughing gas- Good Stuff!) in the office. I finished out my pregnancy working for a Dental Temp agency (who else would hire a pregnant girl temporarily?) After I had Levi I started working at a General Practice in Burlington. I've been there almost 7 years now and still love it.

MY HUSBAND MATT: Quite the handyman and father. He has completely restored and remodeled our house, there isn't much that he can't do. He makes me laugh all the time. He even does dishes and changes diapers!

LEVI (almost 7) This little boy amazes me EVERYDAY! From his witty comments, to his humor and his knowledge! He has been reading since he was 3. Started chapter books at 4 and is now at 6th grade reading/comprehension level. He's supposed to be going into 1st grade this fall but will be going to 2nd instead. His favorite activity is Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He has songs that he plays on expert level. My husband can't even keep up! When he was little it was really hard to keep up with which superhero he was. He was totally convinced that he was "Dash" from the Incredibles from the previews he had seen. We were reluctant to take him to the movie because he would be crushed to find out that he really wasn't Dash! Spider-Man and Batman still remain favorites. He annoys his big brother (totally on purpose) and caters to his baby sister constantly. He is truly the sunshine in my day!

BROOKIE (Turned 2 in March) My little Shamrock was born on St. Patrick's Day. It's pure coincidence that her middle name is Ireland - really! She's quite the princess/rocker. She's convinced she'a a princess (when she has the right dress or shirt on) She thinks I'm a princess too (of course when I have the right outfit on too). She loves to play her Elmo guitar during Family Rockband/Guitar Hero night. Her AC/DC night gown is among her favorites (a teenage girls tank top with shortened straps) She talks alot and is quite bright (I know, every parent has the cutest smartest child!) She really is imopressive though. She has been able to recognize all of her letters and tell us the sounds they make since she was 19 months old. She is a total joy to have, I am so blessed!

MASON- (18) He's a good kid! (even though he's a teenager!) We've had our struggles from time to time with the "Step" relationship and the fact that he's a teenager but the last 3 years have been the best for us. We've had a great relationship! He's kind, considerate and helpful. He doesn't have the "Mouthy" teenage attitude with me. He treats me with respect and I respect him for that. He's not my biological son, but he's still my "First" son. He's a volunteer firefighter in his hometown and loves it. He's still trying to figure out what to do when he grows up!

I have been blessed with a great family and a great life. I wouldn't change anything about it!

Did I mention I'm a professional Fire Dancer? Actually, I'm a professional hand raiser when they ask for volunteers. Why do I do that to myself?
