I've worked in several different career fields, finally settling, and loving, my career in nursing. I've been married, now divorced and spent most of my joyous years raising my son James.I enjoying life, building my career as a nurse, trying my hand at writing, real estate until settling in the great city of Baltimore. I now focus most of my time on my little man Zackary, who has autism, while still finding my perfect spot in the world for the two of us.
My best memories of high school seem to gravitate to the music room. That is where I felt at home. If is wasn't in class at the time, I was an aide to Marty Staub, or finding a reason to get out of french class to be in the band room to help him with some 'urgent issue', getting a note from him, of course.
Perspective was another shining light. Finding the props, the parties, the people there that were a little 'different' like me always made school fun. Bob Mostow, like a big kid himself at times, was always great to be around.
I have to say the best memories I have from school, however, would be my trips to Canada, and my little chats with Mr Dickoff in his office. He was a very caring man, calling me in once or twice just to make sure I wasn't taking the wrong road with some of the folks I was hanging out with, the 'rockers'. I won't name names. In canada he taught danced with me. I will never forget that.
