Members of the Butler Sports Hall Of Fame

Rich and Ron Saul was inducted into the Butler County Sports Hall Of Fame the first year (1976) that they were eligible. 

Rich played football, basketball and track while at Butler before going onto Michigan State. Was named All-Star Big Ten and went onto play in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams.

Ron played football,  basketball and track while at Butler before going onto Michigan State.  Was named Big Ten Honors and went onto playing in the NFL for the Washington Redskins.

 

Terry Rettig was inducted in 1978.  Terry played football from 1962-66 while at Butler being named All American, All State before heading off to Vanderbilt University.  Terry continued to play football there and had received MVP awards while there.

 

Bill Quigley was inducted in 1998.  While at Butler he participated in football, basketball and track which he became a record holder.  Attended Murry State College and later becamee a high school coach and youth leagues coach.

George "Mike" Kelly was inducted in 1999.  While at Butler he participated in football, baseball, and track and named to All-Conference Team.  Went onto play football at Notre Dame but was injured which finished playing football.  Mike came home and became very involved in the midget football league as a coach.

 

Bill Parise was inducted in 2000.  While at Butler he participated in gymnastic and  became WPIAL and PIAA Championship.  Went onto perform in gymnastics at New Mexica University and was named All WAC.  After graduation he became Director of YMCA.
