I enjoy knitting, quilting,jewelry making, reading and gourmet cooking. I love to decorate with primitive designs and growing my own herbs. I am an avid reader. But mostly I love needle crafts and thing the requires hand threads.

Riley Elizabeth Souzer; born 2011

I was married in 1975. I started working with learning disabled children in spring of 1976. My first child was born in 1982, Jason. In the winter of 1984 my husband who worked for Airco at the time was transfered to Southern California to start up a plant in the Mojave Desert. We lived there for about a year and then we were transfered to Maine. My husband was now working in Kittery. We have lived in Maine since the late fall of 1984. My daughter was born here. Both of my children have grown up here and continue to work and live here. I now work at Sanford High school. I am and ED Tech and I work one on one with special needs students at the high school level. I have one grandchild Riley who is 2 and Avery who was 6 and passed away last winter. My husband and I would like to return to Butler to retire, we are looking into moving back shortly. We both miss the town we grew up in and went to school here.
