Ralph Beck or Butch as we called him was my cousin.  So, I remember him from way back,  He loved the outdoors as a kid and we spent lots of time at the 'crick' turning over rocks and eating berries that grew along the banks of that crick. ( It wasn't until later that I discovered that the crick was actually a creek!)  Butch was a body builder before it was fashionable. The last time I saw Butch was at my father's 90th birthday party which he had traveled to from Ohio with his sister Penny and her husband.  I never dreamed that I would never see either one of them again. Miss you,

Ralph was one of the senior guys on the football team who took me under his wing during late summer training.  Always a gentleman.  I was lucky to have known him.
