Diane B. "Diny" Ellis
Diane B. "Diny" Ellis, 67, of Brandywine, Connoquenessing Township, died early Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler.
She was born in Butler on June 30, 1945, a daughter of William and Mary Kopp Cicco.
Diane was a lifelong member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, until she moved two years ago and joined St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Meridian.
Diane was known as a fantastic cook and was happiest when spending time with her grandsons. She also loved to spoil her Shi-Poo pet, "Gi-Gi."
Diane and her husband enjoyed spending winters at their home on Marco Island, Fla., for more than 20 years. She was the widow of her beloved husband, James L. Ellis. They were married Jan. 28, 1967, until his passing July 2, 2010.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Robert and Tim Cicco.
Diane is survived by two sons and their spouses, James W. and Alisha Ellis, and the Honorable Brian L. and Monica Ellis, all of Butler, and by four grandsons, Justin, Nathan, Ethan and Jimmy Ellis.
She also is survived by four brothers and one sister, William (Linda) Cicco of Butler, Joseph Cicco of Butler, Jack 'Mutt' (Barbara) Cicco of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Cicco of Fla., and Janice Cicco Crispin of Marco Island, Fla.
ELLIS- Friends of Diane B. "Diny" Ellis, 67, of Brandywine, Connoquenessing Township, who died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, will be received at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, Butler. The Rev. James Murphy, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Butler

I was glad to sit with Jim and DIane at our last reunion,golfed with Jim Jack and Brian that week,sorry to them both gone
