Sally F. Dittmer Holsinger
Sally F. Dittmer Holsinger, 66, of the Butler Arbors passed away Friday evening in the Sugar Creek Rest, Worthington.
Born March 23, 1946, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Erba V. Schontz Dittmer.
Sally worked as a waitress for the Red Barn and the Hot Dog Shop, and she also did long-term baby-sitting. She would most like to be remembered for being the neighborhood baby sitter.
She was a member of the Living Word Evangelical Free Church and a former member of the Country Music Association.
She is survived by four sisters, Rose Mary Ashe and her husband, Richard, of Fenelton, Nancy Catterall of Herman, Betty Lou Henry and her husband, James, of Herman and Susie Lemasters of Herman; two brothers, Ted Dittmer and his wife, Phylis, of Butler and Tim Dittmer of Herman; and one sister-in-law, Linda Dittmer of Fenelton.
She also is survived by two special friends, Jennifer Paraska and Kristen Wynn and their families of Butler; two stepdaughters; two stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Two brothers preceded her in death, Donny Dittmer in 1980 and Ray "Sonny" Dittmer in 2012.
HOLSINGER - Friends of Sally F. Dittmer Holsinger, who died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, will be received at the Martin Funeral Home Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. H. William Glassman, officiating. Burial will take place in Gruenwald Cemetery.
