David L. Foley
David L. Foley, 59, of McDonough, Ga., formerly of Butler, died Thursday evening at the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Butler, Aug. 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Margaret Foley.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and had been employed at the West Penn Power in Butler for 27 years. He moved to Macon, Ga., in 1996 and had worked at a Publix Supermarket.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Foley was a Roman Catholic and formerly attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Butler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen S. McIntire Foley, who died July 2, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Michael D. and Darren S. Foley, both of Marietta, Ga.; three uncles; and numerous cousins in the Butler area.
FOLEY -- Friends of David L. Foley, who died Thursday, March 2, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
