Hello fellow Bulldogs,
Hard to believe that 20 years have passed since we all graduated. Time really does fly. Since graduation, I went to school at the U of M and graduated in 93. I then moved out to Seattle, where I lived for 14 years. It is truly a unique an beautiful part of the world where I made tremendous friends with an awesome community. ( I had to use awesome somewhere)
In Seattle, I started the first tech union in the country for technology workers, which became an internationally recognized local union of the Communications Workers of America. I have been featured in books, radio, TV, and a variety of other print publications. Yes, I became a political hell raiser.
Last summer I accepted a job in Geneva Switzerland to lead the telecommunications department of UNI Global Union. My department represents 3 million workers in 132 different countries It is an incredible place and experience for the past year. It certainly would not have been possible if it wasnt for the start that I got in Butte with my friends and family.
I have no kids, and have been fortunate to meet an incredible woman while here in Switzerland named Monique from DC.
I wish I could be at the reuninon this year but my life changes just dont make it possible.
I want to give a shout out to all my good friends who made highschool bearable. Band gotta love it, and how can we not remember the makeout seesions, pep band, and jazz band.
Well fellow dogs, that is all from Switzerland have one for me and remember tap er light.
