David Mangan

Since 1968, well I joined the Air Force instead of getting drafted right after graduation, went to Vietnam as a Jet mechanic. Came back got married in 1974 to a wonderful woman Nancy Tallent from Charlestown, delivered both of my lovely girls,( with a midwife) was with the Frito-Lay company for 21 years as a sales representative, became a Jaguar mechanic as apart time job, became a carpenter as another part time job, rebuilt a Victorian home in Melrose, retired from Frito-Lay, have been with Boston College for the past 16 years as the catering manager and alcohol manager, got my college degree in management, got a hole in one in a golf course, caught two giant blue fin tuna ( i went out twice ) travelled the speed of sound in an f-105 thunderchief, started a Junior achievement program in the city of Melrose, climbed Mt. Katahdin 13 times, crew chiefed race cars Formula's for some high and mighties, buried my wonderful wife of 34 years, in October of 2006 ( hardest thing ever) still a bit rough around the edges on that one. Learned a few languages, Have an adorable granddaughter Natalie 4 years old. I Met a fabulous, amazing, loving woman, Christine after almost giving up on ever thinking I could be in love again, but besides that, not much.........

When John Wright and I were sorting out the frogs out of the fameldahide buckets in biology, and the teacher, God I cannot remember her name, walked in and caught him tossing one and it wached him on the side of the face she flipped out.
