Comments:

After my graduate year in Canfield I spent a Year in Geneva/Switzerland where I attended Webster University , then back to Italy again with a scholarship in my poket to finish my studies which I didn't finish in the end. Got involved and "raised" in my family business until 2001 when after making the decision of selling the company to a multinational Swiss corporation, I found my own path in the fashion industry. Finally in 2006 I created my own business and now I travel the world and enjoy my job very much. My job is my life since I am not married and have no children. Here I am , an old spinster.... Too much travelling, I guess..

School Story:

Funnily enough , I have none or very few memories of my first FOUR years in high school in Italy while I have a huge amount of wonderful memories concentrated in a single year high school in Canfield. I still remember my first days in School , butterflies in my stomach, scared to death, I think I couldn't eat for a week .I was feeling totally inadequate . But then I started appreciating every single aspect of that experience. That wasn't just moving to a new shool and making new friends, it was a full immersion into a completely new culture from the one I had experienced until then.I am talking about..having pancakes in the morning, tasting real hamburgers, struggling to find a date to go to Prom and having my dad Gene Russo telling me "Federica , if you don't find a date,I'll go with you!". Well, actually I ended up having a gorgeous date.
I will never forget the teachers
(Mr Ples, Mrs Eynon, Mr Weible..hope the spelling is correct!, my best friends Jenny Murphy,EmidioCheccone,
the Russo family that hosted me and treated me like a daughter ( we still keep in touch) ...just amazing memories.
