Graduated from Miami U in 1992, graduated Emory Med School 1996, finished residency U of Cinnti 1999, and I am now in private practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
My husband Mark is a native of the Gulf Coast. He knows everything there is to know about sailing, deep sea fishing, seafood, and Jimmy Buffett. He has bleesed my life beyond belief, and made me a huge fan of LSU. We attended the recent BCS championship game in NOLA.
Mark and I and our older two children lived through and survived Katrina. Our house is 22 feet above sea level and the surge came to our front porch. I lost my entire office and everything in it. (It was located on the beach in Biloxi across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. ) Becuase there was no school for 6 weeks, the kids lived with my parents in Canfield, and Emma attended C.H. Campbell while living there. Katrina has changed us and made us a stronger community and family.
My parents still live in Canfield, and we try to visit every 4th of July. My mom divorced and married Mike Trotter's dad, who was widowed. He is the best Dad ever.
