After high school, I spent 5 years at OU, somehow leaving with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration. Landed a great job in a steel mill (Copperweld), where I did nothing relating to my degree. However, being a crane operator on midnight turn for 4 years allowed me to pursue an MBA degree at YSU during the day. Transferred to accounting at the mill for 2 years before it closed in 2000.
Then, started working for a wiring harness company in Howland, called Alphabet - Stoneridge, and worked into a plant controller position for 5 years before the plant closed in July of 2007.
Realizing that my life lacked adventure, I decided to walk away from the accounting field, and now work on a 130 foot private luxury motor yacht. Currently based out of Ft. Lauderdale, I live on the yacht in a marina right off the beach, where we'll be until June. My job description includes leading all water sports, primarily scuba diving and water skiing, as well as maintaining the outside of the boat. Our itinerary this summer includes two weeks in the Bahamas, then we'll begin to travel up the East coast, then sail back down to the Caribbean after the huricane season. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion, schedule permitting. I'll get some interesting pics up in the meantime.
