Reunion Feb 20-22, 2015

Jim and Ellie did a great job of planning our weekend reunion! It was a fun time filled with a lot of conversation, laughing and getting caught up. A lot of us felt like we didn't have enough time last summer to talk for very long with any one person, so this time, we did have more time to do so! Jerry and Louise Johnson, Rana Limbo, Dave and Carol Ulring, Hudson Nahashon, Karen Wallem, Jim and Jane Gisselquist, Ellie Watland and Lonnie and Paul Simonson comprised this reunion group. We hope we can do this again sometime with even more of our class there. It was great fun to hear from Hudson what it was like for him to come from Africa to the Middle of Nowhere as a young man to study and play and come of age with us! He thought all the girls talked so fast and he wasn't allowed to run barefoot in track! Hudson lives in Las Cruces, NM.

Some of us went to the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden Friday afternoon and enjoyed talking as we walked and had lunch together. Jim and Jane Giz hosted us Friday evening. Twelve of us gathered for appetizers and dinner at their home and of course, talked some more while enjoying a beautiful warm evening by the pool and around their table. Saturday evening we came to Ellie's home for another evening of chatting and dining al fresco (Midwesterners and Easterners take note!). Ellie made us all feel so comfortable at her place as well.

Thank you so much, Jim and Ellie for planning such a great weekend! We all had a great time and it wouldn't have been so much fun without gathering at your beautiful homes.
