Friday, September 6, 2019 (FAMILIES WELCOME)

To kick the weekend off, we will be hosting a tailgate party at the CHS vs RHS football game Friday evening at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.  The tailgate will begin at 5:30pm.

We will be set up in the southeast corner of Kimbrough’s parking lot.  You can’t miss us! Just look for the Red BBQ trailer.   We will be serving up hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and lots of fun.  The cost will be $5.00 per person. 

We request that you purchase you and your family’s dinner in advance so that we will have an adequate food supply.

If you are unable to purchase your meal(s) in advance, you will still have the opportunity to purchase your meal at the tailgate party via cash or credit card; however, an RSVP would be greatly appreciated so that we can plan accordingly.

If you are attending the game, football tickets will be available at Canyon High and Randall High East Office (Valley View) to purchase in advance for $6.00 for adults and $2.00 for student/child.  You may also purchase tickets at the football game for $8.00 per person.  The game begins at 7:00.  Canyon High is the home team.

Canyon High and Randall High will both have pep rallies at their respective schools beginning at 10:00am Friday morning.  Former students are welcome to attend.

Saturday, September 7, 2019 6:00pm (ADULTS ONLY)

We will gather at Acapulco Mexican Restaurant and Bar, 727 South Polk Street in Amarillo.  We will start the evening with “social hour”. You can grab a soda or cocktail, get “reacquainted”, catch up with old friends and make new ones.  If you have yearbooks or any memorabilia from our glory days, you are welcome to bring it.   At your leisure, order and enjoy a delicious dinner. But you won’t want to leave early because at 9:30 the dance floor comes out and the DJ will begin to spin!  Let’s see if you still have your 80’s dance moves!
