HOEHNE, Colo. - Shane D. Sanchez McDonald, 40, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, in Raton, N.M.

Celebration of life services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wagon Wheel. Private family burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Comi Funeral Home of Trinidad.

Mr. McDonald was born Jan. 19, 1971, in Walsenburg, Colo., to Al and Peggy McDonald Sanchez. He attended Hoehne School and graduated in 1989 from Randall High School in Amarillo, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer O'Hare Sanchez McDonald; two children, Tyler R. Sanchez McDonald and Madisen Sanchez McDonald; and four siblings, Storm Sanchez, Ivy Taylor, Sheila Tarabino and Terry Boon M.D.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Chandler Magoo Fund, in care of BradLackey.com, in memory of Shane Sanchez McDonald, No. 737.
