School Story
One of my favorite stories about Carmel High School is a sad one, but shows the spirit of our school. I will never forget the day Jerry Garcia died. A lot of the students were in shambles. Principal Duke, came over the intercom and announced Jerry's death. I think some students were even dismissed due to their grief. It was touching that his passing was recognized and respects were paid. I felt proud to be apart of a school with these principles.
My favorite time of the day would definitely have to be in between classes where we would all meet up on "the hill". I learned how to open my heart on that hill.
