Well, let's see.
After graduating from highschool I attended Edinboro University to obtain a BS in Secondary Education / General Science, Math. Started substitute teaching at various schools for a couple of years. When a job never came through, I started working at the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation and went back to school for a Biology degree at Point Park University. Obtained that degree in 1998 and took a job with the Principal Financial Group. Worked there for 11 years before I got laid off in March of 2009. Was fortunate and found a job right away, as unemployment doesn't pay the bills, currently working for Corporate Benefits Consultants in Cranberry. I am their Director of Retirement Services / Financial Advisor. We specialist in employee benefit programs for corporations and individuals.
When I was 30 years old I met my husband Gerry, while visiting friends in Erie, PA. He transferred to Pittsburgh and we got married in 2003 when I was 32. So, I got a late start with marriage and children. We'll be the oldest parents in PTA but that's alright.
Can't wait to see everyone..........It's been way too long.
