Just finished reading through the profiles. Thanks for the letter that lead me to memory lane... Looking forward to the reunion.

Hey. Made it to the 10 year and everyone looked pretty much the same as in high school.Did not make the 20 or 30.
Will be at the 40 and really looking forward to it but am hoping that I can recognize my classmates and that they can recognize me. Souldn't be a problem ..right? We are all just a tad older.

I have cancelled my reservation on two suites at the Holiday Inn of Algonquin. So, if anyone wants a suite, call the Holiday Inn soon.

Jamie Griffith's boyfriend (of many years) is a professional videographer. Since he is being dragged to the reunion with Jamie and can't wait to mingle with perfect strangers, he offered to videotape our reunion for a small fee. "Take Charge Laura", gave her okay but later caught some resistance from "the committee". So, I'm asking for some support in this! The video will be for sale on the website for those that would like to purchase a copy. For the classmates that are unable to attend, it might be a nice way of catching up from a distance. I'm confident that the finished product will be excellent, much better than one might expect from a class reunion. It's also best that we are all strangers to him so the video will be all inclusive, unlike the 30th reunion pictures from my private stock. Okay folks, leave your messages of support ... nay sayers can keep their comments to themselves. I love a good democracy!

I think it's a great idea Laura, let's see year 2009 DVD or snap shots, I'd rather have a dvd of the event than a bunch of snapshot's laying around in the drawer. I also know Dan and he is to be trusted and will deliver a great product.

I agree with Laura, let him tape it and people can decide for themselves to buy it or not. Give the Committe the right to edit the final version - there's a nice compromise! And its a good option for those who cannot make it. Why not give those the option to see what they missed?

I think its a GREAT idea - there is no substitute for a professional in this venue and the DVD of the reunion is FAR better than a few snapshots for sure! You are really making this 40th an event for the record books Laura - you ROCK!

Jamie Griffith (Stevens)

Dan has been a professional cinematographer for about 30 years, working on feature films, commercials and documentaries literally all over the world. He is also a film/video editor. At my suggestion, he is charging a ridiculously small fee for coming with me and shooting this. And, as Laura said, the DVD will be available for sale on the website. It is a perfect way for those who will miss the reunion to catch up, and a great keepsake for those who attended. His shooting and editing skills are amazing--music, interviews, funny footage, etc. The idea of approving the final edit is probably unnecessary and you'll have to discuss that with him, but I promise you, you are not dealing with an amateur!

Jack - Ah, unfortunately...you are SO right. We women DO look better...or DID! I think that just getting to see everyone will be great - and, as it is likely our vision is failing, EVERYONE will look good! Thanks to Laura, and all the committee, for the tremendous amount of work you have put into both this website, and the organizing of the reunion. It is MUCH appreciated!

Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday!
Were we to receive paper tickets to the event?
Also, I purchased 2 tickets. The second ticket is for Bill Czechowski, in case you want to update the classmates attending section.
Thanks for all the hard work put in to this site/event!!!

I was so looking forward to seeing everyone again this Saturday. Unfortunately my wife's recent partial knee replacement and budgetary restraints will keep me here in Georgia. I hope everyone has a great time and we'll catch you down the road.

Janet Wynn's mother passed away last week and Bob Bolier lost his mother this week. Our thoughts and prayers are for them and their families.

Committee - thanks so much for a great event. It was so much fun. It went too quickly. Maybe we should do 45 years and not wait for 50! Linda

Nancy Lynch (Lynch)

I agree with Linda, let's not wait another 10 years. Didn't Dave mention something about celebrating our 60th birthdays?

I figured out on Sunday morning which part of me is REALLY 58....oh, my achin' feet.

Great job committee, so much work, thank you.

It was wonderful to see everyone.

Back in Everett, Washington and the realities of being gone from a job since September 24... I would say that I'd rather be retired except that I just got to do a PreSchool Chapel with 60 3-4-5 year olds. One kid asked if I was Jesus...and before I could respond, some know-it-all five year old girl said, "No, it's just Pastor Jack...Jesus is much younger and has a darker beard!"
I can't say I love everything about my vocation, but that's something fun to come home to :)

And while back in my personal "holy land" with so many of you...HOW SWEET IT WAS! A big thanks to the organizing committee for all the fine work that went into a now-great memory to savor for a long-long time to come! Live well--do good work--and stay in touch!

Barbara Larsen (Vidargas)

I am so sorry I had to miss the 40th due to work (those weddings just keep happening - next week is Craig Bethke's daughter's wedding at my venue, the Adler Planetarium - huge coincidence!).

I look forward to seeing photos of the reunion and I would definitely buy the video.
I hope everyone had a great time!

What a great 40th class reunion. A fantastic job well done by all of those that helped put everything together. Sure did not know that you could dance on carpet in heels! Oh my feet were sure sore but it was worth all the fun that was had. Was great reconnecting with so many classmates. Are we all really going to be "60" in a short time????!!!!

Dave McDonough (McDonough)

I talked to Bob Bolier today and learned that he was in a bicycle accident on Saturday and ended up in the hospital with a couple of broken ribs and a puctured lung. He is doing OK but is quite sore as the old body can't take as much abuse as it used to. Here's to a speedy recovery Bob!

I, too, pass on huge regrets for not being able to attend! I was really looking forward to attending but health and budget restraints got in the way. :( - I'm on board for the 60 Birthday Bash!!!!! Please feel free to contact me about it! Then I can make up for missing this one! All you guys look good in the pictures! Some little changes - some not so little but looking good all the same! I am finally getting some steady work, so, if the economy holds out - (my health too) - I should be in shape for the next one! If anyone feels like visiting me at one of my new jobs, feel free, it would be a lot of fun!!! Just check my website - www.MohrFUN.com - and it will tell you where I am on a given evening! Til then, I respectfully say thanks for letting me be a small part of the reunion with this website and hopefully see you in the flesh in the future!

Well, Thanks to looking around a little more on this wonderful and much appreciated website, I am able to respond and Thank everyone on the committee for making our 40th class reunion a wonderful event. I had so much fun seeing old friends and classmates. I think a party or get together of some sort would be great for our 60th birthdays!
I cant believe that this many years have past in my life.
I have been very lucky in life, love and happiness. Thank you God! Let me know if you would need any help in preparing for our next party.
