Irving Crown Class “71” – 71st Birthday party - Thank you again for all that responded to committing on attending the party. We are currently looking into venues for size, cost, availability etc. Our goal is to narrow it down or even decide on one this next breakfast. With the commitments we have (about 30) we are looking at about 45 to 50 attending. Some placing we have checked are just too small to be comfortable. What seems to be practical will cost approximately $35 to $55 each. This would include the room/hall – catering 2 to 3 Entree dinner with appetizers, salads & sides, and music DJ for background music, requests and for those ambitious ones Karaoke. We do need help in gathering mailing addresses. Not everyone has electronic access, all help is appreciated. We are trying to get as much as we can and will need to prepay to locking pricing and whatever perks can be locked in. We are setting up a group of 3 of us to handle billing & expenses.
Venues we have looked at so far – Rosie Ohare’s, Diamond Jim’s, CJ Cobbs, Dundee VFW, Emmett’s to name a few. I know others are being looked at and will be discussed next Thursday April 25 at Southern Belle’s at breakfast at 9:30. For all that can make the breakfast – It would be great to see you.
