William J. Holterhaus, 64, of Roscoe, IL, died at 11:20 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Saint Anthony’s Hospital. He was born September 26, 1952 in Chicago, IL, the son of Theodore and Gloria (Hemsky) Holterhaus. He lived 25 years in the Roscoe area, coming from the Chicago Suburbs. He attended Dundee area schools. He married Debra Marsh in McHenry County on September 25, 1982. He was employed as a CNC operator, he retired in 2016. Bill was a Loving Caring, Wonderful husband. He was a loving father, grandfather (Papa), and uncle. He was a “Family Man” he loved spending time surrounded by his family. Bill was a very hard worker, but when it was time for fun his hobbies were Harley Davidson Motorcycles and auto racing. He loved the outdoors and riding his bicycle. He was quite a sports fanatic; he also enjoyed cooking, traveling, spending time with friends and loved Life. Survivors include his wife Debra; daughter Amy (Nick Folk) McIntosh; son Zachary Holterhaus; grandchildren Haley Swan and Nathan Folk; sisters Deb Majewski ,Kim Holterhaus and Carrie (Willy) King, brothers Ted (Theresa) and Greg Holterhaus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held in McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, IL on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m. Private Graveside Ceremonies will be held.
