Lori Leigh Kublank, age 68, a lifelong Algonquin resident passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, August 2, 2021. Lori was born in Elgin on April 9, 1953 and was one of 3 daughters born to the late Alvin “Dip” & Bernice ”Bunny“ (nee Lauffenburg / Scheuer) Kublank. Lori was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Algonquin and a 1971 graduate of Irving Crown High School in Carpentersville. Prior to retirement, for over 30 years, Lori was a loyal and valued employee of United Airlines. At one time, Lori was a realtor as well as a Certified Massage Therapist.

Survivors include her sister; Gail (Ron) Smith, her 4 nephews and 6 grand -nieces and nephews along with her “special cousins” and good friends; Keith and Linda Hinz and Kay and Terry Walker. In addition to her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, Lori was preceded in death by her sister; Jayne Kublank Voss.

At Lori’s request, she will be cremated. There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. In lieu of flowers.
