Since 1999 ....

I went to Wright State and hung up by baseball cleats for good. Eventually I graduated with a degree in business management (still haven't really used that). Along the way, I met my wife at our church, and inherited a step-son who is now almost 8 years old.

I coached the 7th grade baseball team at Canal Winchester (I'm a traitor, I know). After working in the nonprofit sector for a while, I got a nice, stable job with the government. Well with the economy, it became not so stable so I decided to get back into the non-profit sector and just recently landed a job as executive director of the central Ohio chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation.

I got married almost three years ago and had a baby boy of my own a year ago. So I'm like a real adult now. I coach my son's little league team and am pretty involved with church, sports, and disability-related organizations.

I recently dug out my "career passport" that we got on graduation day and had to laugh because I'm not even close to being where I expected to be when I graduated from high school, but I thank God for that because I love my life.

I watched a funny memory on video a month or so ago. It was our rap video from Chemistry class where me, Jeff, and Jason rapped the periodic table of elements. It's classic. "We white!"
