Merry Christmas to you, too, Kitty. I like Holiday Inn, also. Just didn't have enough blanks for all the movies.
Take care!

Hope you all have had a great Christmas, we sure did. We've had a small blizzard up here, about 8-10 inches of snow, then the wind has caused some 10-15-20 foot drifts on some of the rural roads. Keep the road crews in mind, they seem to be having a hard time, they get stuck too, except when they get a big snow-plow stuck, it takes an even larger grader to pull them out.

Have a wonderful New Year, and take care! Steve

Jim and I had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas day at the church at a cummunity Christmas dinner for the public. We didn't want anyone to have to be alone on Christmas. We spend several days as Mr and Mrs Claus for children at the correctional center visiting room and at Bailey school(a school for behavioral problems). It was so much fun.
I hope everyone else is doing great and had a wonderful time.

Hello, classmates. We are bringing in the New Year in St. Charles, MO with Steve's sister and brother-in-law. Always a fun time. My sister in law and I went this morning and had a manicure and pedicure. How relaxing. Hope you are all safe, happy and healthy for the new year. We will be back home late Saturday. Take care.

We spent New Year's Eve at a retirement party at Mr. Yen's for the chaplain from Federal Medical Center. There were about 50 people there and we got home by 9 pm safe and sound.
Then New Year's Day we took Christmas presents to John's kids and I got to visit with Kayden Terrence, he is such a happy and loveable baby. I would just laugh at you and cuddle in your arms... so sweet...I did not want to leave him.
I will post pictures as soon as Jim gets them downloaded.

Does anyone know anything about Bobby Powell's Dad?

01/03/10 07:04 PM #534

Debbie Holland (Phillips)

Who is Bobby Powell?

01/03/10 08:52 PM #535

Debra Hood-Woods

Although I don't know who Bobby Powell is, my thoughts and prayers go out to all those in need of prayer. I am happy to see that this website continues long after the reunion is over. I go back to school/work tomorrow after a two-week break, and this is the first time that I've been on here since shortly after the reunion. Where did the time go? Although I miss out on what's currently going on in your lives, I appreciate those of you who are diligent in keeping in touch with each. I did take the time to go back and read all your responses since I was last on here. Joyce and Debbie, my prayers are added to the many others being sent out in your behalf. My high school days hold wonderful memories for me, and you all are a part of those memories. Thanks for still being available for each other. I pray that I'll be able to be with all of you at the next reunion. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I just uploaded some Christmas pictures of the babies. I did not get any group pics but I may upload more later of the grown kids. I was sick and you can tell it in the pictures, but isn't baby Kayden so adorable?

Everyone please keep Kim Parsley and her family in your prayers as her dear Grandmother, Lela Golden, passed away over the weekend. I know she has been in bad health for quite a while. She was a very dear person. She worked at Golden Rule for years. Kim was very close to her grandmother and I know she would appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time.

God Bless Each of you,

Karla

Kim,
Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. As she was, so you are part of her; therefore she must have been one heck of a gal! Thinking of you, and right now my Grandmothers too, Steve.
