One of the funniest things I remember happening to Jimmy was when he was "Grounded for life!" He had just gotten his drivers license, and wrecked the car the next day or two. His Dad grounded him for life! Of course we were out cruising the loop that weekend. His life really was much too short.Debbie Holland (Phillips)
From what I remember, Jimmy was a very nice guy. I remember hearing about his death and how very sad I felt that he was taken so soon. He attended several of our reunions and I know he will be at this next one -- in our hearts and in spirit.Steve Moody
I remember Jimmy as being a nice guy too. I always thought it so cool when his Dad, who was a Police Officer in Caruthersville, would drop him off at Washington Jr. High in the mornings. I was very saddened on hearing of his death.Vicky Alston (Fairey)
Jimmy was a nice guy and was always sweet to me, and friendly. He lived down the street from me on Zaida. I remember once in high school, he asked me to go riding with him, and I did. He kissed me that night...and we both decided that we were just friends, so that didn't happen again! I was very sad to hear about his death...especially for his wife and daughter. I see his daughter,Leslie, quite often as she is a good friend to my niece. She is happy that her Dad is being remembered by his classmates.
