When I was in the 7th or 8th grade, I think, Charolette got me and Brance "together." He gave me his bracelet and we "went" together for about a week. We never even talked to each other the whole time!

Brance was a good friend in high school. Does anyone know how he passed.

I remember Brance in Jr. High and High School. He was one of the many boys I had a crush on. I remember him and Bryan Oatsvall always talking during class and were such big flirts with the girls. :)

Brance wrote me a note one time when we were in junior high. I'm not sure if it was a "love" note or not, but it was a whole page long, and every letter was done in a different color with colored pencils. It must have taken him a very long time. I thought it was very sweet, but we were never an "item", just friends. Vicky Alston Fairey

Apparently, Brance was quite the ladies man!

Brance and I hung out some in HS. It is ironic that he was killed in an auto accident, because I once went on a seriously wild ride with him driving in a convertible down Ward Avenue! I was with Jane McGraw, and I believe Debbie was with us, and we were going very, very fast! Of course someone called the cops on us but we did not get caught at that moment. My Dad, (a Deputy Sheriff) later questioned me, but evidently only had a rumor about who might have been with Brance.

I remember Brance was also very good at drawing, did some very good pen and pencil work.
