Joyce Sampson

Joyce Sampson

From Joyce's family:

Our beloved Joyce slipped peacefully into the loving arms of our Jesus on April 16th. She was welcomed into Heaven by her mama, daddy, sister and 2 brothers.  We miss her greatly but know that she is no longer suffering and she has all her beautiful hair again. Please keep us in your prayers as we mourn the loss of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt. She was survived by 1 brother, 10 sisters, a daughter, 2 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

I am so glad we reconnected after all these years.  I will miss her emails and her wonderful spirit.  I believe she died of lung cancer.

I am so thankful that we got the chance to reconnect after all of these years. Joyce was so kind hearted and supportive to any of us when we were having problems, whether it be physical or personal. I remember her coming to my house when we were in elementary school and watching me practice my piano lessons. She wanted me to show her how, and I think I tried to a time or two, but we were just kids and would get busy doing other things, of course. I know that she loved her family very much. She was looking forward to seeing us next month at our mine-reunion, and Joyce, I know you will be there in our hearts.....enjoy heaven!!!!!!!!

I miss you Joyce,

I am so glad that we got a chance to renew our friendship and be able to talk once again. I remember Joyce so fondly. The sleepovers and the birthday parties. The times of just being together. I remember on one birthday party she bought me a Monkies album-it was so special even tho I didn't really appreciate the Monkies yet--but it was from Joyce and it was the very first record album of my own. I remember us running across the westside playground one night during a sleepover at her house and I couldn't run because I kept losing my houseshoes.

I will see you again, Joyce and we will have all eternity.

I love you, my friend.
