I went to UofA and got my degree in Computer Science. I spent my junior year on an exchange to the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating from UofA, I moved to Kansas City, MO to work for a large healthcare IT company called Cerner. After 3.5 years there, I decided to work for a much smaller company. I began working at Perceptive Software in Shawnee, KS, where I greatly enjoyed the people and the culture of the company. After only a short 9 month period there, I was off to San Diego to pursue a career in the biotech industry. I currently work on genotyping and laboratory automation at Illumina.
