Lived in the beach towns of LA from 1969 - 1977 and taught school (hippie years) and studied for a Masters degree at La Verne University. Received a MS in counseling. Moved to Oklahoma City and sold real estate 1977-1978. Trained to become a Landman in 1978 and worked in OK, Kansas, Arkansas, Virginia and Tennessee buying oil and gas leases. Married the love of my life, Suzy in Tennessee in 1980. Began working as a Project Landman for Sohio in 1981 in Denver. Moved to Dallas in 1985 with Sohio. Moved to Houston in 1987 with Sohio which became BP in 1987. In 1989 became an Landman negotiating deals in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico for BP. Retired from BP in May, 2010 and began working contract for Statoil. Plan to retire full-time at the end of 2011.
Passing out free burgers to friends at midnight while working at McDonalds. Hanging out at the A&W. Shave creaming parked cars while cruising up Center Street. Trips to Alcova Lake. Playing Beauregard Jackson Pickett Burnside in Auntie Mame and acting in the Jr. Follies and other musicals. Poker games at John Dunn's house. C Hill. Senior Day at Alcova (too much vodka - not pretty). In general just enjoying all the friends I made during my time at NCHS.
Google up the song "What I like About Texas" on Utube and you will understand why I love this state. I would also probably live in Denver since our son, daughter-in-law and grandsons live there and of course I love the mountains. That's why we make several trips pulling our travel trailer. We love to camp.

29 the 1st time for about a year. Then 36 when I married Suzy.
I still love people so that hasn't changed. I do hope I have learned a bit from my mistakes since high school.
Riding my Harley through the Texas hill country when the blue bonnets are in bloom and taking photos.
Too many to list.
R&B, Country Western, Jazz. Of course the most creative times were the 60's and 70's and I love the music of that era. The Eagles, especially "Hotel California" and "Life in the Fast Lane". The Best of Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Camp in all the National Parks in the US. Rent a place in Italy for about 5-6 months and tour that beautiful country as well as other places in Europe.

What I did.
Began mowing lawns when I was 10. Delivered the Casper Tribune when I was 12-14.
Sacker at Safeway and cooked burgers at McDonalds in high school. Worked for an oil field logging company and a mud company in west Texas during college.
Teacher. Community Developer. Real Estate Agent. Petroleum Landman.
My wife's gourmet cooking.
Beer from different micro-breweries.
Bogle Merlot, Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay, Beringer California Collection Cabernet and La Vuelta Malbec. (These are cheap but good wines).
Makers Mark Bourbon. A good gin and tonic. Oh and of course, every Friday night at our favorite TexMex restaurant, Margaritas!
The best of Crosby Stills and Nash.
1950's vintage country western oldies. History of the Eagles (fantastic)
Blue Bloods, Sunday Morning, Big Bang Theory, The Office, 60 Minutes. Reality TV is boring. Have been back into reading lately.
If you like non-fiction, I recommend "Unbroken". That's what I call a reality book. I predict a movie will be made of this one. Books by David Baldacci and Vince Flynn.
Enjoy Life!
I'm not as shy as I was in high school.
