Friday, August 8, @ the Wonder Bar, we will meet and greet, and use a photo booth, and there will be a cash bar and appetizers.... 5:30 PM-?
Use the front door and use the stairs to go to the second level. Park on the street or park in the parking garage. If you need fewer steps, park in the area behind the bar and use the back door for access to the elevator.
Saturday morning 9:00 AM August 9. Meet Sandy Nollman Gillum at the front door of NCHS. Her son Shawn will take us on a tour (if there is anything of the old building we can tour), then we will be allowed to see the new building which will have a grand opening a week later. (No they are not tearing down NCHS, but are housing the students in the new building until the old can be remodeled. Some of the original building will be torn down including the pool.)
Saturday golf: If you are playing golf, see Skip Gillum Friday night for your tee-time. The tee-times will begin at 11, at Casper Municipal Golf Course 2120 Allendale Blvd. Casper
Saturday Night: CHANGE OF VENUE: Due to an Overwhealming Response our original site would not hold us. We are excited to announce our new location: We begin the evening at 6:00 PM at The Ramkota Inn, Best Western. There will be a cash bar at 6 and a Buffet dinner will be served at 7:00 PM. You will have the choice of London Broil, Roasted Turkey or Honey Glazed Ham. We will have music provided by DJ. Everyone is being encouraged to participate in a very simple line dance to be filmed and shown on our NCHS Facebook page and webpage. Don't panic. If you can slide 4 to the right, 4 to the left, kick 4 times and walk a quarter turn, you are set for the whole dance! The Ramkota Best Western is on Poplar just off I-25 heading North.
Sunday morning: We will be meeting for breakfast at the Ramkota (8:30-11). It will be a buffet.
Sunday at 12:30 PM: Float trip: Meet at the Tate Pump House Trail Center, 1775 W. 1st. We will leave half the vehicles at the pump house and ferry the group to Robertson Road Bridge where we will hop into the rafts and meander down the river back to the Pump House. After we are finished with the ride (approximately 2 hours) you are invited to my childhood home at 2020 S. Walnut for wine and appetizers. If you are not going on the float trip, but want to join us at 3:00 Sunday afternoon, please bring an appetizer to share or your favorite spirits. Those taking the raft trip are not expected to bring anything but yourself to 2020.
