It's been busy since school. Went to CMU and got a BSBA in Accounting in 1992, then went on to get my CPA in 1995 and my MBA from Oakland in 1998. Pretty much turned into a workaholic. Spent the first 28 years of my life in Michigan working as an accountant for either a CPA firm or Walbro. Moved to California for a short time and them ending up moving to Arizona in 2000 and worked as a Plant Controller in Mexico for 2 years. That was interest especially since I didn't speak a lick of Spanish when I started.
I now work for a company called Farmers Investment Co. We grow and process pecans. Coming from living on a farm, this is great. Most of the time, I am stuck in my office working on the financials, but every now and then, I can take a "field trip" out to the orchards for a break. In addition, it is neat having all these big trees around; it is a piece of the North, in the middle of the desert.
