After graduation I went to work at Fasco where I stayed for 11 years (UGH!!). It wasn't the greatest job in the world but it was a fairly good living. My husband, Les, and I were married on April 14, 1990. We have 3 great kids. Whitney, the oldest, lives in Springfield and works for T-Mobile. She is also a part-time cosmotologist. Haley, our sophomore, keeps us busy with basketball and softball. She plays basketball at Exeter where, if I might add, we are currently ranked #1 in the state!!!! We are hoping to fulfill that state championship dream. We are only a little excited!!! Shawn is a 6th grader and is also playing basketball and is "addicted" to video games. Can any of you relate? I currently own and operate a floral, bakery and gift shop in Exeter. Les owns and operates a Mathews archery shop. I know what you're probably thinking, "a flower shop AND an archery shop-how different is that!?" Well, it all goes hand-in-hand really. The guys go to my husbands shop and buy themselves a new toy then stop by my shop on their way home to stay out of the doghouse!:) Anyway, it's nice to hear everyone is doing well and I look forward to seeing you all in June.

They only look sweet and innocent. You know how they say you pay for your raising but should you have to pay for your spouses? That doesn't quite seem fair does it? I guess that's where the "for better or worse" comes in!:)

Shawn with one of his many pets he has had in the last few years. He found this raccoon in our barn after its momma was killed by the dogs. It didn't even have its eyes open yet.
