RE: CANYON HIGH "All Classes" REUNION Posted Friday, August 13, 2010 03:53 PM I'm planning to go to the BBQ, but probably not the evening shin-dig. Looking around at the web site, email, and flyer, there is a lack of details. ie. What is the earliest that the Bernal Greens area will be open? Can you use any help setting it up? (No guarantees, but if I can get there early, I'll help.) When's lunch? (Always a popular question, from personal experience) Have any particular activities been planned for this time? How late will the Bernal area be available/open? Could use you any help cleaning up? (No guarantees, but if I'm there, I would be happy to help.) |

RE: CANYON HIGH "All Classes" REUNION Posted Friday, August 13, 2010 04:08 PM Hey there Jeff, Michelle Olsen here. Glad to see you joined our official class website, so welcome! As for the Canyon event, the picnic officially kicks off at noon, but the committee will be there early to start cooking and so on. I think you can get there as early as 10 as far as access to the area. You are welcome to come a bit early to give a hand, though I'm told we have plenty of help. Some of the committee members have even recruited their kids As for activities, the picnic is really intended to be an informal gathering for everyone. Some have opted to bring guests to the day event that will not join the evening event. The main event though is the dinner and dance. We will have special pinball machines there, along with the regular pictures, buffet dinner and music. We have almost 400 people coming, so our thought is that between the picnic and the evening event, people will have the chance to truly visit with people. Feedback in the past has been that there is never enough time at the evening only events. As for the picnic clean-up, your help would be very welcome. Those of us on the committee have to get awy to freshen up and change for the evening and be back in time to begin checking folks in before 6. The picnic is officially scheduled to end at 4, so we'll have food cooking and available from noon to about 3 for lunch. I think that addresses all your questions, but feel free to drop me another note if you have others. My direct email is gomezgrp@pacbell.net. See you tomorrow |
