The short story...started working at a women's clothing boutique in SF during senior year. Moved to full time work that summer, going to college at night for several years. Became a Christian in 1984. Graduated from CSU Hayward in 85 with a BS in Business, then Holy Names University in 94 with a Masters in Education. Married my best friend Greg Gomez in 1986, then welcomed the most amazing little person into our lives in 1999 when Gregory Michael was born.

I celebrate 25 years with AT&T this year. I've had many wonderful positions there and some that just added tools to the tool belt. I continue to run Gomez Properties with my hubby, our home business managing residential rental properties in the east bay. I've had fun working with clients as a Personal Effectiveness Coach and Business Consultant since I received my coaching credential back in 96. I'll be looking for a career change in the next several years; something outside corporate to re-ignite my passion and entrepreneurial spirit.

I still love playing and coaching sports. I coached my son through his early years of baseball, and continue to coach baseball and basketball from the sidelines and backyard. I played team mom for his flag football team last year, and mostly just offer my observations on his martial arts since that's his daddy's area of expertise :)

As a family, we love playing with our doggie Dexter, eating good food (hubby's a great cook), traveling, camping, dirt-biking/quadding, target shooting, harley-riding and supporting all of Gregory's sports.

When I'm not partaking in all that family fun, I love serving in a variety of ways at my church, especially singing (I have been seen at an occasional karaoke event as well, I must admit), scrapbooking when I have a few spare moments, and reading a good romantic novel. Okay, so wine, candles and a great massage are still on the favorites list too!

School Story:

Oh my. There was that embarassing moment when the song girls convinced me to perform the Telephone Man song during lunch hour on the quad.

Oh, and the night of Jody and Brad's bachelor/bachelorette party when the girls crashed the guys party at Jay Bisio's, and Jay attempted to give me a black eye (ouch!). There was lots of other fun that night I refuse to document LOL :)
