Lorraine Chittock

Saving up for three month of travel and returning home broke wasn't working. I was hired as a photographer at a magazine in Egypt in 1991. I lived in Egypt and Kenya for 12 years. In 2003 I began touring the Americas full-time with my two Kenyan-born dogs in a $750 Chevy van. My books document native cultures and animals and include "Cairo Cats, “On A Mission from Dog" and “Los Mutts”. I also write for magazines and speak to groups. I now live in Chile with my boyfriend and 5 dogs. We're building a cabin next to the Pacific, hoping to prove "the adventure of a lifetime doesn't take a lifetime of savings."
