Life, so far, has been filled with many humbling moments, friends who have become family, family who have become friends. I followed the beat to a funky drummer and then ended up marrying him on Earth Day 2001. Four years later our world, and the meaning of it, changed forever with the birth of our son, Selwyn. I have convictions now that would shock and amaze the 16 year old Toni.

Comedy is still a focus of my daily life. Often just to deal with a situation I have to look at it like a SNL skit. Funny seems to take the edge off everything. I have actually made dozen of dollars making people laugh with some funny ladies, we call ourselves SuperOVUM~ Improv Girls Gone Wild. Life now is staying home with my little guy, gardening, wine, teaching improv, and shaking what my mama gave me.

Chris Mann makes me laugh # 167:

This was actually after school. I was riding with Chris in his land boat and we went through the McDonalds drive-thru. At the time McDonald's was running a promotion that if your food was not in your hands in 1 minute from the time you ordered then it was free. When we pull up to the pick-up window the employee hands the order to Chris but instead of taking it Chris holds up his watch and counts "...56...57...58." The panicked worker screams at Chris shaking the sack "You have to take it!!" (I am laughing right now like it just happened.)

Coming back to school after dealing with a grueling bout of mononuclosis and seeing "Toni for Prom Queen" signs plastering the halls has to top the list for sneaky, clever, funny, events my friends pulled off.
