iconWARD ROBB JR. Ward S. "Skip" Robb Jr., 67, of Henderson, passed away Feb. 2, 2011. He was born April 24, 1943, in Riverside, Calif., and was a 43-year resident of Nevada. He served 14 years in the Army National Guard and retired after a 45-year career as a medical angiographger in the cath lab. He was a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Ward S. Robb Sr.; grandfather, Samuel Bowser; and grandmother, Janet Bowser. He is survived by his loving wife, of 30 years, Alisa Robb; mother, Jean Robb of Cedar City, Utah; sister, Janice Grimshaw, of Enoch, Utah; brother, Scott Robb of Las Vegas; daughters, J. J. McGuire of Cedar City and Bobbie Cobell of Las Vegas; son, Mark Robb of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Ward S. Robb Jr. "Skip" returned to his Father in Heaven on February 2, 2011, from unexpected heart complications. He was the son of Ward S. and Mary Jean Robb. Skip was born in Riverside, California on April 24, 1943.

Skip loved Cedar Mountain and the Paragonah area where he spent his youth, pursuing his lifetime passion of hunting and fishing. He was an avid gun collector.

He married Tammy Robinson and they had three children. Skip and Tammy later divorced. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Alisa Gonzales, children, Janice Janett, Bobby Jill and husband Turk, Mark Lyle and wife Jan, mother, Jean Robb, sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Vern Grimshaw, brother, Samuel Scott Robb, father and mother-in-law, Al and Jan Carol Gonzales, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 South Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral and interment to follow.
