Comments:

After graduating CHS, much to everyone's surprise (including my own...) I stayed in Cedar, and went to SUU. I graduated with a degree in technical theatre with emphasis in Audio and Stage Management. With changing my major/minor as well as taking the scenic route, I graduated in spring of 2001 - about the same time as several of my friends were getting their masters degree. Ha!

Around school, I worked for Metalcraft for just over a year, worked with lots of local performing groups, and had a taste of owning my own business - thanks but no thanks! Theatre seemed to be the thing - I worked for the Utah Shakespearean Festival most summers between 1994, and 2002 - first on stage crew, then in stage management, electrics, and finally sound. After graduating SUU, and a year of freelance work and a few bad short term jobs, I interviewed with and was offered a job at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and in October of 2002 was exported to the deep south. Talk about culture/climate shock! AT UAB, I was the sound designer and master electrician for the theatre department until January of 2007, when I was offered the resident sound designer position at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. I spent two months working for both UAB and the Festival, then settled in to ASF full time.

In November of 2008 I married a southerner, Jeff Pridmore, in Birmingham Alabama. We have a fur herd but no kids.

I decided to go back to school, and in 2015 we moved to Austin, TX. Jeff is working at Winding Road Racing and I had to figure out how to be a student again. I will graduate from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest on May 22, and later in the summer of 2018, we'll be moving back to Alabama.

School Story:

The two things that come to mind are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - the drama department production my junior year of which I was over-involved, and being the editor for the first video yearbook - a good idea, but a very tragic undertaking!
