Teacher's Corner

The purpose of this page is to put any updates of our teachers and list their emails if you would like to contact them.

This is an excerpt of a letter from Mrs. Ruchotzke. At the end I have listed her email if you would like to send her an update.

"My husband, Kirk, and our boys, Heath, Josh, and Jacob (now Jake), moved to Overland Park, KS 17 years ago. Kirk has been an associate pastor at Lenexa Christian Center (Lenexa, KS; Pastor Mike Purkey) for the last 15 years I am still teaching English in a small Christian school in Olathe, KS. After teaching seniors all these years, now I am truly one of them--permanently! It's still a great joy and honor to be an influencer in the lives of young people. At this year's moving graduation ceremony, I was reminded once again of why I do what I do.

All three of our boys are happily married to wonderful, godly wives. Heath and Jake (and their wives) live within minutes of our house and do not yet have children. Josh and his wife, on the other hand, had the audacity to move to Tennessee a few months ago with our only grandchild (Hayden, not quite 2 years old)! They are the ones we will be visiting in June.

Thank you, thank you for including me on the invitation list for the reunion. I can't think of anything more exciting! Please remember me on the next go round. I would absolutely love to see you and your classmates and your families. Please express my regrets and tell them all that I love them. "
