Ginny,
Point taken. I think for the most part it might be ok. We're all adults now-not the student teacher thing any more.

The only reason I asked was that I see them a lot. The way we have it now is fine.

Ms. Taber was really interested in saying hello so I may let her write something under my name to say hello. I hope everyone is ok with that.

See y'all Friday.

I'm good with it, my most wild story would probably be TP'ing someone's house. Let's wait a bit and see what some of the others say. I'm fine with her posting on your profile, or I can make a special page with letters from people/teachers. It doesn't take any time if you want to forward her note.

Hey, is Mrs. Taber coming to the picnic? She is more than welcome, she was a big help finding some people.

I am the guilty party for posting announcements! Can't wait to see that outfit!

Special page would be cool. I know she wasn't a teacher, but she has been on staff since most of us were in Jr. High. She's also the only one who really seemed to care about the alumni events.

Kathy Watts can't make it to the tour so they handed it off to the new High School principal. I wasn't coming to the tour at first but now I will. Debbie said she would come too. I just didn't want our nostalgic tour to be led by someone who doesn't know us or the school very well.

Great quick thinking about the lifetime smoothie coupon. I'll hold off on giving your number out.

Joy's Boys.... I was looking for that t-shirt so I could wear it on Friday. But no luck...lol. I was wondering the same thing, Where is Joy? I think if we had stuck with it we could have made it big. Maybe as big as Striper. Without the hair.

I will be honest, the picture with the shorts.... they were Jay's, he made me wear them.

It's good to hear you Jeff.
See everyone Friday.

Any plans for afterwards??? The after party????

Holly - I hope you are having a great time. I will have to take your side too. My kids would shot me if I passed up an opportunity for a beach. Hopefully we can get together later this summer, you still owe me a ride in your new car.

Ginny - Do you want me to set up a page for the teachers? I think all we need is their email, right???

Hey Mark,

I was meaning a special page like the TOP TEN , year 1988, we could do a page like, "Teacher's Notes", which is putting in info the teacher's have sent us. I am still waiting to hear about how people would feel about teachers signing on and able to read all their stuff. I guess the best thing would be to say if you are not really comfortable with it or think it would cramp the free style, email me. Be honest here, people. It could go either way.

Jay, Mark Hennessy is the one doing the tour, he sounded nice enough when I talked to him earlier this week. Just asked what we wanted to see. I definitely want to see the old chapel, and obviously the gym and classrooms. Glad you are coming, sounds like your memory is better than mine. You and Jenny Sellers, she remembers everything!!
Rhonda had emailed that Mrs. Watts would not be doing it like we originally had planned, but Mark would be there instead. Is he related to Pastor Hennessy?

i'm w/ Mathew... i hardly remember anything from highschool... i mean, how long has it been... 20 years?
maybe my 6 year college plan faided my memory.

let the teachers see the page... it's all fun... they would just laugh... does anyone remember having to take that Proverbs class. i think i had to write that book like 10 times that year... thanks to Mr Grahm... now i make my kids write versus from that book when they are in trouble.

Ginny,
Yes, I'm sure Mark is nice. Yes, he's Pastor Hennesy's brother. He just recently got here and accepted the position of High School principal so he doesn't know the school for anything other than what it is now. Kathy, on the other hand, was the Jr. High principal when I tried to burn the portables down by lighting a cherry bomb trying to impress Becky Puskas. I'm sure he'll be fine, it would just be nice to have someone lead that shares in our nostalgia.

Bobby,
Texas State! Party school city. I didn't last one night there without getting thrown in jail. Remember that frat party we went to when Jarrod and I came down? Wow.

Mark,
Are referring to Jay Lawler's shorts? By the way, Joy still sings at karoake machines everywhere. She does Martina McBride better than Martina.

I'm having so much fun.

Ginny, good job with the Teacher's Corner. You are awesome.

I can't wait to see everyone.

Jay,

dude, you are going to have to lead the school tour, I am sure Mark will just be opening doors with his key! You and Jenny have the craziest stories. She was telling me today about some closet they used to put people in for suspension or detention in the old building when we were freshman/sophmores. Does that sound familiar? I am sure you would know about it!

06/12/08 10:17 PM #55

Bobby George

dang... i forgot about that...

06/12/08 10:19 PM #56

Bobby George

Ginny...do you have Drakes Email?

06/12/08 10:52 PM #57

Ginny Archer (Lynch)

Nooo....I could maybe find out from Griff, actually Drake lives in our neighborhood....let me work on that after Saturday. I think I can come up with it. Griff might be at the picnic on Sat., last I heard, so he could give it to you, too.

And how come you know about that closet? You never did anything to get in trouble, did you? :)

06/12/08 10:58 PM #58

Bobby George

i was refering to the visit by Jay Dan in San Marcos. crazy times!

06/12/08 11:01 PM #59

Jenny Sellers (Schaefer)

Okay, Jay Dan, I had to laugh thinking back to those Jr. High days with Becky Puskas!!

Bobby - I have Drake's home phone: (972)775-6976.
We just saw them on Memorial Day....he is doing great and still works at the Adolphus in Dallas.
I am glad that somebody else remembered the way they used to stick people in the "closet" for in house suspension.
I can remember walking down the hall by the bathrooms and nurseries and Jon Campbell sticking his head out wanting to know what time it was!! It was rather inhumane....

06/12/08 11:35 PM #60

Ginny Archer (Lynch)

Bobby, don't even want to know.......

Well, ya'll are all crazy! I gotta get some sleep, we have a partee' tomorrow, in case ya don't know! Who needs bags under the eyes to go with that new outfit? (Take note Jay Dan, since I know you have some cool new duds to show off)

Catch some ZZZZZZZZ's!!!!

06/13/08 02:19 AM #61

Mark Felch

I do remember something about solitary confinement.....

Jay - the memories are coming back now. Sounds like a few people have stories about you and parties....
Do you remember Grahams night club?? getting a couple 6 packs of adult beverages and sitting in the parking lot trying to down them before going into the club??? And the sheriffs dept pulled up and took all the beverages away.... Crazy times....
Good thing we are all alittle wiser now..........

Did anyone notice it is Friday the 13th???

06/13/08 02:23 AM #62

Mark Felch

Bobby - I am going to remember that about writting verses when my kids get in trouble. Good idea.

Holly Reynolds (Boyter)

Hey guys - Wayne made it in last night and we're all headed to Charleston for the day. I'll be thinking of you as the evening comes around. Have a great time, and be sure to post back here with the great stories so I can enjoy them, too!

Oh, and please take photos and post them - I want to see everyone together, too!

Hey Mark,I still have that coffee cup you gave me for my birthday in the sixth grade I think it was.It is after all the most prized posession I own, next to my suitcase from school.
Those of you long timers, remember after lunch in the sixth grade we hardly ever had class because Mr Jones and I would always be playing chess?

06/13/08 09:52 AM #65

Jay Dan Gumm

Mark,
Yes, I was an equal opportunity partier. Yes, Graham's. Wow. Tuesday night any coin and drink. I got a DWI coming from Graham's one night and many PI's. Then I graduated to the Crystal Chandalier. I was so dumb.

That closet was suspension? I thought I was in there a lot because I was good!!!!! They told me it was the special closet.

Can't wait to see everyone tonight. I have a special suprise for you all.

Thanks to all for making it happen.

Holly, have fun and tell Wayne hello.

06/13/08 09:53 AM #66

Angie Hensley (Cook)

Okay, the suspension closet, as I remember the rumors about it, was where certain people would go to make out. I could mention names, but . . . .

And whatever happened to Mr. Jones? I remember my first year at Trinity, in 8th grade, and he would as me (I guess because I was the only one stupid enough to say yes) to monitor his class as he did god knows what--played chess? And remember the old piano in his room?

I will say for him, though, that he was a pretty darn interesting science teacher. We made volcanoes and all that in his class--
