Hello CRW Classmates!
As we approach Labor Day weekend and our 40th Reunion … the planning committee is excited to announce a REFRESH and RESET of activities! If the past 18 months have taught us anything … it is to be nimble.
Friday, Sept 3:
Golf outing at Hunter’s Ridge (with class of '80): 10:00 a.m.
- We have tee times beginning at 10:00 am;
- Kory will reach out to golfers with tee times
Classes of '80 and '81 Mix and Mingle: 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- Uptown Snug, 760 11th St., Marion. Show up when you can!
- Plenty of outdoor seating/room to socialize
Saturday, Sept 4:
Class of 1981 Celebration: 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- SAG Wagon, 827 Shaver Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402
- Outdoor Beer Garden – plenty of outdoor space to socialize
REFRESH
- The class of 1980 will be joining us! If you didn’t get to say hello’s on Friday … you’ll have a second chance on Sat.
- We will refund payments or donate on your behalf to Warriors for Good supporting Cedar Rapids Community Schools. Please drop a note to crwclassof1981@gmail.com letting us know your preference. There will be no charge for either Friday or Saturday.
Sunday, Sept 5: Warriors for Good: 12 – 4 p.m.
RESET: The event will be postponed to a later date
- Pre-Payments for meals will be refunded
- If you would prefer to donate $18 per person prepayments to Warriors for Good fundraising let us know at CRWclassof1981@gmail.com
